Welcome to Our Homepage

Atlanta Health Careers is certified through the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education
Commission (NPEC) for seven of its healthcare programs. The one exception is that the Georgia
Healthcare Partnership provides Atlanta Health Careers certification for the Nursing Assistant
program. If successful, nursing assistant candidates will receive their credentials from the State of
Georgia.  Upon completion of their respective programs, students are eligible to sit for appropriate
exams (such as the National Center of Competency Testing for the Patient Care Technician,
Phlebotomy, ECG/EKG and Medical Assistant license and the ARDMS exams for Diagnostic
Medical Sonography).

VISION

The vision of the Atlanta Health Careers Institute (AHCI) is to be the premier purveyor of health
careers training in the greater McDonough and Atlanta metropolitan area. We envision expanding
numbers of AHCI students in Georgia, throughout the United States and around the world. Our vision
includes serving students of all ages, both domestic and international, at an affordable cost. Students
will grow personally and professionally, gaining the skills, knowledge and attributes to be better
prepared for employment in a successful healthcare environment, at home and in their communities.
